Managing Director and Senior ASSessor
“I started my career working from the ground up and put myself through college and became a qualified Electrician and Inspector. I have worked within the Rail, Underground, Civil Construction including Highways Management. I have moved across all industries as a Site Agent or Construction Manager and only felt comfortable if I was at the coal face delivering projects where the works was performed.”
After 30 years of experience I decided to use my diverse knowledge and became a qualified Construction Management assessor for various training providers. In 2018 I decided that to pursue my passion in training and established Ability Qualifications Ltd.
“It is our core belief that NVQs were made more affordable for those who wanted to upskill.”
In September 2018 we at Ability Qualifications Ltd were delighted by be approved by Proqual as a Training Centre and in February 2019 be registered with the CITB as an ATO (an organisation which provides construction training courses and qualifications to a defined and industry-agreed training standard). We will be gaining ISO/9001 Status this year
My ethos is to ensure that those who seek our service were given support throughout their learning experience and provided after care of service by providing further information after learners completed their course on career progression and training.
We are fortunate to have an experienced and ever-growing team on board who all work to the benefit of the learners who seek our services.
We continue to provide collaborative partnerships with Employers and Recruitment agencies so that we can offer employers a more affordable route to their invested employees and after care career links to candidates for their career progression. Our reviews hopefully will continue to reflect our commitment and passion in providing a first-class service to candidates and their employers.
